3. Which social media channels should you choose for your healthcare business?
There are so many social media channels these days that it becomes difficult to decide which ones to go for. Generally speaking, it makes sense for doctors to be present on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. You could also choose Instagram but it tends to lend itself better to businesses that favour a more visual experience like spas, hotels, and restaurants.
4. How to change your Facebook URL.
Boost makes it extremely easy to change your Facebook URL. All you need to do is follow these steps.
i. Go to the home page on the app and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The full menu will appear. Select ‘Manage Content’
iii. You will reach the main content page. Select ‘Business Profile’.
iv. On the next page, select ‘Contact Information’.
v. Once you are on the ‘Contact Information’ page, go to ‘Facebook Page Widget’. Alter the URL as necessary and tap ‘Save Contact Info’ to complete the process.
5. How to deactivate a Twitter profile and connect new one?
a) Web Portal
To change your Twitter URL through the web portal, log on to the website and follow these instructions.
i. Go to the Dashboard and click on ‘Content Sharing Settings’ under the ‘Manage Content’ tab.
ii. You will see the following page. Scroll down to Twitter sync and click the dots on the right to deactivate the old account.
iii. Next, use another tab/window to open the Twitter website and log in to the new Twitter ID you wish to connect. Then return to the Boost window and re-reactivate Twitter sync.
iv. Twitter will ask for your consent to connect to a third-party app (Boost). Select ‘Authorize App’.
v. Once you have given your authorization, Twitter will sync with Boost automatically. No need to key in your password again as you have already logged in through the previous step. You will see the following message which indicates that your profile has been successfully synced.
B) APP
To change your Twitter URL using your smart phone, open the app and follow these instructions.
i. Go to the home page and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The main menu will appear. Select ‘My Digital Channels’.
iii. You will reach the next page. Your current Twitter account will be displayed under the ‘Connected’ column. Tap the question mark symbol next to the Twitter ID to start the disconnection process.
iv. Once you tap the question mark sign, the following pop-up will appear on your screen. Select ‘Disconnect Channel’.
v. On doing this, your Twitter account will be disconnected and you will be taken back to the ‘My Digital Channels’ page.
vi. To connect another account, check the circle next to the Twitter sync feature, then tap ‘Continue Syncing 1 Channel’ as shown below.
vii. Boost will ask whether you have an active Twitter profile. Select ‘Yes, Sync My Twitter Profile’ to proceed
viii. Next, you will be asked for authorization to link your Twitter profile. Log in using your Twitter credentials and select ‘Authorize App’.
ix. Tap ‘Save and Continue’ on the next page to save the Twitter account to Boost.
x. You will see the following message informing you that Twitter is successfully connected. Tap ‘Go to Digital Channels’ to return to the main digital channels page.
6. How to change your WhatsApp number.
Boost makes it extremely easy to change your WhatsApp Business number.
i. Go to the home page and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The main menu will appear. Select ‘Manage Content’.
iii. You will reach the main content management page. Select ‘Business Profile’.
iv. Once you are on the ‘Business Profile’ page, select ‘Contact Information.’
v. Once there, change your WhatsApp number on the ‘Contact Information’ page and tap ‘Save Contact Info’ to complete the process.
7. How to check your active syncs in social sharing.
By ‘active syncs’, we mean all those social media channels and online discovery platforms that are connected to your Boost account like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Google My Business.
Follow these steps to check your active syncs on Boost-
i. Go to the home page and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The main menu will appear. Select ‘‘My Digital Channels’.
iii. It will take you to the relevant page. You can see your active and inactive syncs here. Look under the ‘Connected’ column—these indicate your active syncs.
8. How to check your inactive syncs in social sharing?
By ‘inactive syncs’, we mean all those social media channels and online discovery platforms that are available for plugging in to your Boost account (like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Google My Business etc.) but haven’t been connected yet.
Here is how you can check your inactive syncs on Boost-
i. Go to the home page and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The main menu will appear. Select ‘My Digital Channels’.
iii. It will take you to the relevant page. You can see your active and inactive syncs here. Look under the ‘Not Connected’ column—these indicate your inactive syncs.
9. How to manage your digital payments section.
You can easily manage your digital payments section from the app. Follow these directions:
i. Go to the home page and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The main menu will appear. Select ‘Manage Content’.
iii. You will reach the main content management page. Select ‘Service Catalogue’.
iv. You will see the following page. Tap the ‘+’ button to add a new service.
v. It will take you to the ‘Service Details’ page. Fill in the required information as shown below and scroll down.
vi. You will reach the ‘Pricing & Payment Info’ section. Follow the instructions given below to set up the digital payment feature.
When it comes to selecting payment gateway, Boost allows you to choose from three options—the Boost payment gateway, your customized payment gateway, and an external URL. See images below for details.
Boost Payment Gateway
Once you tap the ‘Change’ button, the following screen will appear. Select ‘Boost Payment Gateway’ and ‘Update Bank Details’ as displayed below.
On tapping ‘Update Bank Details’, a new page will appear. Tap the ‘Edit’ button to make changes to your bank information.
Tap ‘Submit for Verification’ when done. This will take you back to the ‘Service Details’ page.
Customized Payment Gateway
The customized payment gateway option is locked and needs to be activated by purchasing the service from the Add-Ons Store. See Part IX, Question 16 for details.
External URL
To use an external URL as your payment gateway, select the relevant option and click the ‘Done’ button as shown below. It will take you back to the ‘Service Details’ page.
You will be required to enter the website name and URL on the ‘Service Details’ page.
vii. Now, scroll down and tap the ‘Other Information’ button. A new window will open on your screen. Key in the relevant information as shown below.
viii. Upon tapping ‘Confirm’, Boost will take you back to the ‘Service Details’ page. Tap ‘Save & Publish’ to publish your changes.
