Every popular search engine has defined how it looks at, measures, stacks and stores information from millions of websites around the world. For it to perform its task in the best and most efficient manner, it measures websites on certain criteria. Meeting the criteria - by laying down your content accordingly, is search-engine-optimizing your website.
